Urgent Care
Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. If you feel you have an urgent care need with your pet, please call us or come in immediately. If possible to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular situation. We are only a one doctor practice but do our best to care for urgent care needs during our regular appointment schedule.
ON DUTY
Our veterinary team on duty during business hours is trained and equipped to handle most urgent care your pet may experience. Urgent care needs can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs urgent treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.
WALK IN
We are also available for walk-in appointments. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our team will do their best to “squeeze” you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimated wait time.
TIMELY CARE
Some days are overbooked with “extra” urgent appointments. Occasionally, it may not be possible to care for all walk-ins, urgent care needs, or same day appointments. In this case, our receptionist may recommend a patient be seen at another clinic to facilitate appropriate, timely care.
