Checklist
Surgery Procedures
- Blood work is recommend but not required for every procedure.
- Patients are provided pain medication and sedation before surgery starts.
- IV catheters are placed for peri-operative fluids to maintain healthy blood pressure and provide venous access for emergencies.
- Patients are intubated to protect their airway and maintain anesthesia.
Nursing Care
- Our amazing nurses trim nails, express anal glands, and perform otoscopic (ear canal) exams on every anesthetized patient.
- Every anesthetized patient is monitored by a nurse the entire procedure.
- Our touch screen monitor measures heart rate, ECG, respiratory rate, spO2, ETCO2, blood pressure, and temperature.
- Patients are recovered in our arms until stable. Then tucked in with blankets with frequent rechecks.
